Control Union is approved or mandated by numerous organizations, such as the USDA Commodity Credit Corporation, U.S. Agency for International Development, Catholic Relief Organization, Canadian Foodgrains Bank and the World Food Program, by the European Commission Joint Relex Service for control and supervision services for food aid and by various Private Voluntary organizations.

Control Union has worked with USDA/CCC since 1989 and have exclusive contracts with USDA/CCC for the 2005/2006 season to inspect cargoes destined to Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Central America, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Moldova, Mongolia, Philippines, Russia, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan Zambia and Zimbabwe.

In addition, Control Union has conducted inspections on behalf of various Private Voluntary Organizations on a global basis. We have also participated in numerous CCC/IFB contracts in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Morocco, Israel, South Africa, South America, Lesotho, Mozambique, Ukraine and Greece.

In the case of food aid cargoes, Control Union provides not only inspection of goods at the port of discharge and at the inland destinations, we "superintend the cargo flow" as well. To this end, we endeavor to mitigate damages "on the spot" to alleviate further damages to the goods. In addition, Control Union provides their customers with full support by liaisons with the ocean carriers, freight forwarders, vessel agents, inland carriers and warehouse personnel.

In addition to the above, CU offers full laboratory analysis at our independent laboratories.
