ISO 45001 – Healthy and safe working

SMETA – 2 pillar and 4 pillar assessments
Control Union Certifications offers SMETA (Sedex Member Ethical Trade Audit) auditing, a method developed by the multi stakeholder consultation initiative, Sedex. SMETA’s role is to align social audit standards and monitoring practices, to ease the auditing burden on suppliers by sharing reports and driving improvements in supply chain labour standards.
SBP – Sustainable Biomass Program
The Sustainable Biomass Program (SBP) was founded by major European utilities that use biomass in power plants to certify sustainable wood biomass for energy use. Certification starts at the biomass producer, making forest certification no longer the only way to proof sustainability compliance. Control Union Certifications BV is accredited by ANAB for this scheme.
ISO 14001:2015 EMS – Environmental Management System
ISO 14001 helps to identify potential environmental issues and eliminate or reduce them. Control Union is accredited for ISO 14001:2015 under registration nr. RvA-C499 Mgmt. Sys and can complete certification audits on a global scale.
GRI – Global Reporting Initiative
A sustainability report, or corporate social responsibility report, gives information about social, environmental, economic and governance performance. It presents the organisation’s values, governance model and demonstrates the link between its strategy and commitment to a sustainable global economy. It is a link between people, planet, profit and your organisation.
GGL – Green Gold Label
The Green Gold Label scheme is designed to provide assurances that sourced biomass products are from a sustainable source. Control Union Certifications BV is accredited by RVA for this scheme under registration nr. RvA-C412 Products.
ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System
ISO 9001 is primarily concerned with quality management, which means an organisation has to fulfil requirements such as customer quality and satisfaction enhancement, applicable regulations and achieving continual improvements in its performance. ISO9001: 2015 includes accredited certification schemes in accordance with ISO 17021-1: 2015. Control Union Certifications BV is accredited by RVA for this scheme under registration nr. RvA-C499 Mgmt. Sys. The scope includes the critical office in Israel.
Verified Carbon Standard – VCS project Validation and Verification
In the global fight against climate change, a growing number of companies and countries are making pledges to reduce their emissions and become carbon neutral. Offsetting – the purchase of carbon credits – offers them a way to compensate for emissions that cannot be avoided. The Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) is the largest voluntary GHG program under which such carbon credits can be certified. Control Union is a Validation and Verification Body (VVB) currently undergoing accreditation for VCS.
