Speakers
Since 2020, Dirk has been part of the group management team, continuing to oversee APAC operations while also managing global activities under the inspections team. His career reflects a strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the organization.
He has received multiple national and international research fellowships and advises various organizations in sustainability and certification. With extensive field experience, Dr. Choudhury has audited over 500 farms and 1,000 textile projects globally, with a particular emphasis on organic cotton and sustainable production systems.
Yash holds extensive expertise in standards such as GOTS, Textile Exchange, and other global sustainability frameworks. His responsibilities include managing accreditations across the region, ensuring technical integrity, and supporting brands and supply chain partners in implementing credible and traceable certification systems. He is also actively involved in technical training, auditor development, and capacity-building initiatives to strengthen sustainable practices across the textile value chain.
Currently, Rajesh serves as the Regional Representative for Asia at regenagri, UK, where he promotes regenerative agriculture across crops such as tea, coffee, cotton, sugarcane, soy, palm oil, and rubber in countries including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand. He also contributes to national policy as a member of the Coffee Board of India’s Core Technical Committee.
Mr. Khan joined business in 1991 as Managing Director in Ananta Paper Mills and today he is the Managing Director of Ananta Garments Ltd., Ananta Sportswear Ltd., Ananta Jeanswear Ltd., ABM Fashions Ltd., Tunic Fashions Ltd., Ananta Leather Collection Ltd., Paradise Washing Plant Ltd., Thread & Thread Industries Ltd., Confidence Industries Ltd. and employs 16000 workforce with the export of more than 100 million USD per year. He was selected CIP three times by the Government of Bangladesh and became the Director of BGMEA for several terms.
Besides being a business person, Mr. Inamul Haq Khan is also a sports personality and played National Table Tennis 1st Division League in 1974-1975 and again from 2002 to 2004. He was 7 times champion of ORCA Table Tennis Tournament and also the champion of all Cadet College Club Table Tennis Tournament 2012.
He has strong expertise in supply chain transparency, sustainability, and digital traceability systems. With this background, Nachiketa plays an important role in leading traceability efforts across BCI’s complex supply chains. His work involves using digital tools and data-driven strategies to improve accountability, compliance, and ethical sourcing in global supply chains. Nachiketa is passionate about fostering collaboration among stakeholders to build resilient and responsible supply systems.
With a strong foundation in both technical and operational aspects of certification, Jubaer Hasan ensures the integrity and traceability of sustainable textile and forestry standards. He plays a pivotal role in managing audits, supporting supply chain partners, Internal/External capacity building and maintaining accreditation requirements.
With over 18 years of extensive experience in textile sustainability assurance and inspection across various industries, Auyan was an accredited Lead Auditor for numerous standards, including GOTS, GRS, OCS, RCS, ISO 9001, and ISO 22716. In his current role, he oversees non-textile certification operations (agriculture, food safety, management system, regenagri, SRCCS, BCI). He also develops global support programs for initiatives like Better Cotton and manages internal training academies. Auyan is committed to fostering transparency and integrity within global supply chains.
As Business Development Manager – Textile (Asia) at Control Union, he works with global teams to promote innovations in the textile Value Chain. Naveen’s key focus area is on simplifying certification through practical digital solutions, using client feedback to improve processes and support ICU’s development team in delivering efficient, client-focused transformation on the ICU platform.
