Agriculture Auditor

Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, keeping them informed about market changes and adhering to ISO19011 requirements.
- Planning and preparation of assessments, execution of assessments and to provide a quality report with findings as to the conformity with all the requirements.
- Initiate assessments, conduct document reviews, and organize on-site assessment activities. This includes carrying out agricultural and sustainability audits on farms and/or food facilities, ensuring compliance with ISO19001 guidelines.
- Assist clients in handling claims and appeals related to the audit process, facilitating effective conflict resolution.
- Keep up-to-date files of all quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation issued by the company and Control Union Certifications.
- Transport samples to the office/lab, coordinate with clients, and adhere to company standards and health/safety protocols.
- Perform other duties and tasks as requested by the Manager.
- Keeps abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to the sectors in which assessments are carried out.
- Provide clients with high quality of service and represent the company in professional manner at all times.
- Keep up to date with the current certification programs of CUPH.
- Stay informed about developments, issues, and legislative changes in relevant sectors, and continuously update knowledge regarding quality policies. Also, perform tasks as requested by the manager in relation to certification operations. Authorized for taking samples and conducting audits/inspections.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Agriculture (e.g. Agronomy, Crop Science or Horticulture, etc.)
- 2-3 Years of the equivalent of working experience related to quality assurance and quality management (implementing and maintaining a quality system) in agriculture.
- It must have a direct experience in production/farm, packing station or processing unit and Internal Control System and/or farm growers.
- Completion of a CQI IRCA Certified Lead Auditor Course (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or similar) is considered an advantage.
- Preferably with knowledge in audit/inspection principles, practices and techniques.
- Knowledge of certification body’s processes and tools
- Knowledge of normative documents
- Language skills appropriate to all levels within the client organizations and Note- taking and report-writing skills
- Presentation skills and Interviewing skills
- Audit/inspection-management skills
- And additional program requirements specified in the program manuals
