Assistant Certifier Cum Planner (ISO, Social, Tourism)

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., at Klang, Malaysia for ASSISTANT CERTIFIER CUM PLANNER (ISO, SOCIAL & TOURISM).

As an Assistant Certifier cum Planner (ISO, Social & Tourism) you will be responsible to support certification decisions and manage audit planning with accuracy, integrity, and efficiency.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Prepare client contracts, and manage application review approvals and interoffice certification contracts.
• Plan and coordinate certification assessments across ISO, Social, and Tourism programs.
• Maintain an overview of ongoing projects by program and country office.
• Monitor audit schedules and proactively identify risks or potential delays.
• Liaise with auditors on availability, audit scope, and logistical arrangements.
• Coordinate with regional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of certification plans.
• Oversee the transfer of certification projects between certification bodies or clients.
• Coordinate certification decisions and ensure completeness of documentation for certifier review.
• Support certifiers with additional documentation and clarification when required.
• Monitor certification license status, including renewals, suspensions, withdrawals, and resignations.
• Manage interoffice invoicing related to certification decisions.
• Carry out other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Word and Excel
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly
