Agriculture Auditor

As an Agriculture Auditor you will assess farming operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The responsibilities encompass auditing, reporting, assessing risk management strategies, and evaluating agricultural practices for sustainability and efficiency.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Maintain relationships with the client, keeping them informed about market changes and adhering to ISO19011 requirements.
- Planning and preparation of assessments, execution of assessments and to provide a quality report with findings as to the conformity with all the requirements.
- Initiates assessment, conducts document review, and prepares on-site assessment activities. This includes carrying out agricultural and sustainability audits on farms and/or food facilities ensuring compliance with ISO19011 guidelines.
- Assist the clients, in handling claims and appeals related to the audit process, facilitating effective conflict resolution.
- Keep up to date files of all of quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation issued by the company and Control Union Certifications.
- Transport samples to the office/lab, coordinate with clients, and adhere to company standards and health/safety protocols.
- Stay informed about development, issues, and legislative changes in relevant sectors, continuously update knowledge regarding quality policies. Also, perform tasks as requested by the manager in relation to certification operations.
- Keeps abreast of developments, issues, and legislative changes pertaining to the sectors in which assessments are carried out.
- Responsible for submission of liquidation, reimbursement and cash advance request on time. (Refer to HR and Admin Handbook and Policy)
- Follow all company policies and adhering to it at all times.
- Attend to assigned required trainings and learning development.
- Provide clients with high quality of service and represent the company in professional manner at all times.
- Provide assurance of full commitment in completing the assigned tasks.
- Provide updates of whereabouts to ensure constant communication with department head.
- Cooperate with required company activities such as employee engagement.
- Keep up to date with the current certification programs of CUPH.
- Meeting KPI for deliverables.
- Perform other duties and supports as requested from time to time.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Agriculture (Preferably majored in Animal Science and Livestock Production  and other Agri. Extension)
- 2 – 3 Years of the equivalent of working experience related to quality assurance and quality management (implementing and maintaining a quality system)
- Knowledge of production/processing of crops and internal control system and/or handling small farm group
- Audit/inspection principles, practices, and techniques
- Knowledge of certification body’s processes and tools
- Knowledge of normative documents
- Language skills appropriate to all levels within the client organization
- Note-taking and report-writing skills
- Presentation skills
- Interviewing skills
- Audit/inspection-management skills
- And additional program requirements specified in the program manuals.
