Food Safety Inspector - Philippines
The Food Safety Inspector is responsible for evaluating and ensuring consistent implementation of food safety, product quality, and compliance standards across food production and service facilities. This role involves conducting on-site audits, performing data analysis, preparing audit reports, and ensuring compliance with local and international food safety regulations and certification requirements.

Become a Food Safety Inspector and embark on a journey of discovery, innovation and impact, your primary duties and responsibilities will be;

- Conduct on-site audits of restaurants, commissaries, and food service facilities according to applicable standards or client-specific protocols.
- Evaluate compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, service, and maintenance standards.
- Perform document reviews, staff interviews, and physical inspections to assess conformance.
- Ensure that all audits are conducted accurately and completed within the planned schedule.
- Document observations and findings using designated reporting systems or mobile audit tools.
- Provide objective feedback to clients and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in handling claims, appeals, and follow-up actions related to audit outcomes.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and certification partners.
- Keep updated with developments, regulations, and best practices in food safety and quality management.
- Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism throughout all auditing activities.
- Travel regularly to assigned audit sites.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director or Operations Manager.
Requirements
Educational Background and working experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Microbiology, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Must know how to drive and hold a valid driver’s license (required for field audits).
