Quality Manager - Agriculture & Sustainability Certifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Certifications, at Navi Mumbai, India for QUALITY MANAGER – AGRICULTURE & SUSTAINABILITY CERTIFICATIONS.

As the Quality Manager – Agriculture & Sustainability Certifications you will be responsible and authorised to ensure that processes and procedures needed for the management system are established, implemented and maintained, and that performance of the management system and any need for improvement is reported to top management.

Tasks and responsibilities

• ­Planning and execution of Internal Audits (SM assessment, office assessments, Process monitoring) filing of assessment forms
• Coordination of Internal Audits and processing the results.
• Planning and preparation of the management review, report of the review, filing:
  • Assist management review, advisory council.
  • Reporting to director concerning the functioning of the Quality system.
• Supervision of accreditation, Procedure Manual, validation of new programs:
  • Maintaining and implementing Accreditation-demands.
  • Maintaining contacts with accreditation bodies.
  • All activities resulting from the Quality manual.
  • Optimizing of the Quality system, in compliance with ISO17065, ISO17021 and ISO17020.
  • Validation of the program by means of reviewing the first certification-process(es).
  • Evaluating the use of accreditation logo’s in marketing material.
• Registration, investigation, handling and follow-up of complaints.
• Registration, selection, implementation and follow-up of improvements. Filing of Improvements:
  • Pursuit of efficiency/quality improvements.
  • Processing of corrective actions with regards to the quality system.
• Assistance with handling of claims and appeals.
• Maintaining List of Suppliers, filing:
  • Assessment of control organizations.
• Establishing, Implementing and maintaining of processes and procedures in the Quality Manual.
  • Updated and complete Procedure/Quality manual.
• Monitoring of the organization and environment on efficient and correct operation of the certification program:
  • Technical check on objective and justified certification decision.
  • Coaching certifiers on improvements.
  • Identify improvements for the system (means and methods).
  • Identify and report omissions to QM.
  • Identify qualification criteria.
• As a Sanction Board member, address complaints of bribery, fraud, concerns, and whistleblowing and handle sanctions.

Requirements

• Graduate in Agriculture or related science
• Post graduation would be advantageous
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the certification industry at operational level and/ or quality management
• Minimum 5 years of experience of quality management system
• Lead Auditor certification of either ISO 9001/ 14001/ 45001
• Knowledge and experience maintaining/ compliance of accreditations as per ISO/IEC 17065 and/or ISO/IEC 17020 and/or ISO/IEC 17021
• Knowledge of assessment principles, practices and techniques
• Excellent analytical skills, conflict management
• Excellent command of English in speech and in writing
• Proven inclination towards continual improvement, compliance and integrity
