An exciting opportunity has arisen at Certifications at Jakarta, Indonesia for RSPO/ ISPO AUDITOR.

As a RSPO/ ISPO Auditor you will be responsible for carrying out oil palm and others related sustainability certification audits with a fast-paced and dedicated team that works together to manage challenges within today’s global marketplace.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Initiate, conduct and review all related palm oil and sustainability audit activities.
  • Ensuring customer compliance with established certification standards by visiting our clients on site and examining records, reports, operating practices and documentations.
  • Communicating audit findings by preparing a final report and discuss the findings with auditees.
  • Help to reassure consumers about how commodity is produced on the farm by minimizing harmful environmental impacts of farming operations, reducing the use of chemical inputs and ensuring a responsible approach.
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships.
  • Being up to date with the latest local and international regulations in connection with your work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Forestry, or relevant
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in the palm oil industry or related field
  • Preferably working knowledge of supply chains integrated within the palm oil industry and/or working knowledge of palm oil industry standards.
  • Preferably having audit experience (eg. ISPO, RSPO or other relevant schemes)
  • Qualified as an Auditor of ISPO, RSPO, ISCC, HVO would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international)
  • Good in English (written and verbal)
  • Good communication skills, comfortable communicating with varying levels of seniority.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as the majority of the role will involve face to face contact with our clients.
  • Able to prioritise work accordingly and have excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated, independent worker who also can feed back into a team
  • Report writing skills
