Sales and Marketing Officer

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a focus on business development in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry. This role involves generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and market share. Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

• Identify and target new business opportunities within key industries.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new clients to ensure repeat business.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, technical) to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery.

Marketing:

• Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote services and brand visibility.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Manage social media platforms and create content for digital marketing efforts.
• Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
• Monitor marketing metrics and generate reports to assess campaign effectiveness.

Client Relationship Management:

• Maintain a CRM database to track leads, opportunities, and client communications.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide professional support to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate and close deals with prospective clients, ensuring compliance with the company’s terms and conditions.

Sectors & Business:

• Certifications for key sectors like agri, food, tourism, textile, forestry, fisheries, sustainability and many others
• Inspections for commodities and products like grains, oils, minerals, food and fruit products
• Testing for commodities and products like grains, oils, food, water, etc.

Others:

• Perform business to the highest standards of ethics
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned in relation to Sales and Marketing role

Requirements

Educational Background & working experience:

• College graduate of any four (4) year course
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Sales and Marketing position preferably in the same industry to Control Union Philippines, Inc.
• Experience with writing marketing/commercial texts
• Design experience is an advantage
• Experience with digital (social media) marketing
• Experience with Google AdWords is an advantage
• Affinity with Agriculture and Food is an advantage
• Willingness to frequent travel
