Softline Inspector

Exciting opportunities have arisen at Control Union Inspections (Pvt.) Ltd. at Colombo, Sri Lanka for SOFTLINE INSPECTOR.

As the Softline Inspector your role will be to ensure compliance and uphold industry standards. Drive Excellence with your expertise and attention to details. You will be responsible for textile inspection activities.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Perform textile inspections, communication findings and report results.
• Collect and analyse data to enhance service quality.
• Maintain KPI’s within the department and the company.
• Availability to relocate according to business requirements.
• Able to work weekends, nights and holidays according to business requirements.
• Good understanding of tech pack reading proto and fit stages amendment and preparation for bulk.
• Able to read of patterns, amendment and preparation according to requirements.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams in an international context.
• The duties and functions assigned to this position involve extensive travel, including long-distance assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, designing, Textile manufacturing is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience of textile inspection, tech pack preparation with a focus of zero customer RTV.
• Brand Certification for Final inspection will add advantage. (Track records required in certified period).
• Quick decision making, good customer engagement, positive thinking and long-term vision, Data management, Clear communication and Report-writing skills
• Technical knowledge in Pattern, Tech pack, BOM, Construction sheet reading and amendments, Fitting and Product safety in each category.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
