WRAP
WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certification is a comprehensive, independent program aimed at fostering safe, lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing globally. WRAP collaborates directly with facilities to enhance their compliance status, ensuring the long-term success of their businesses while protecting workers’ rights and safeguarding the environment.
Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production
WRAP
Every facility certified by WRAP has undergone a rigorous social compliance audit to ensure adherence to the 12 Principles, which are aligned with both local regulations and globally recognized standards. Unlike alternative programs, WRAP conducts annual, independent evaluations of each facility’s compliance status, along with risk-focused assessments post-certification to ensure ongoing adherence. Furthermore, WRAP provides comprehensive training for both buyer and manufacturer personnel on crucial topics and plays a pivotal role in educating future social compliance auditors on best practices, emerging regulations, and the dynamic landscape of responsible production.
Facilities are required to be actively involved in establishing and maintaining effective management systems, demonstrating their ability and commitment to fulfilling social compliance obligations.
About the certification
The certification process hinges on the facility’s responsiveness to identified non-compliances and the implementation of necessary corrective actions. WRAP certification is contingent upon the completion and verification of all corrective measures.
