Certification programs

URSA (Understanding Responsible Sourcing Audit) is a framework developed by Unilever to assess supplier practices across various critical areas beyond industry-accepted protocols. By encompassing a wide range of criteria, URSA aims to ensure that suppliers not only comply with applicable laws and regulations but also meet Unilever’s stringent standards for responsible sourcing.

Control Union Certifications offers SMETA (Sedex Member Ethical Trade Audit) auditing, a method developed by the multi stakeholder consultation initiative, Sedex. SMETA’s role is to align social audit standards and monitoring practices, to ease the auditing burden on suppliers by sharing reports and driving improvements in supply chain labour standards.

VCA staat voor VGM (Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu) Checklist Aannemers. VCA is bedoeld voor bedrijven die werkzaamheden uitvoeren met verhoogd risico in een risicovolle omgeving. Het doel is organisaties veiliger te laten werken en het aantal ongevallen te verminderen.

Het keurmerk Groenkeur staat voor kwaliteit, vakbekwaamheid en garantie in de groene sector. Control Union Certifications is geaccrediteerd voor de Beoordelingsrichtlijn Groenvoorzieningen 2016 incl. ISO 9001:2015 en de Beoordelingsrichtlijn Boomverzorging 2016 incl. ISO 9001:2015.

De Safety Culture Ladder ( “de Veiligheidsladder”) is een instrument om veiligheidsbewustzijn, houding en gedrag in bedrijven te meten. Hierbij wordt de nadruk op de veiligheidscultuur gelegd. De SCL is bedoeld om bedrijven en hun leveranciers te stimuleren om bewust veilig te werken. Hoe hoger het veiligheidsbewustzijn is in een organisatie, hoe hoger de toegekende laddertrede. De SCL is toepasbaar in alle sectoren.

Voor buitenlandse werknemers wordt de kwaliteit van huisvesting een steeds belangrijker argument om te blijven werken in Nederland. De huisvesting moet dan wel voldoen aan een aantal eisen. Control Union Certifications BV is voor dit schema geaccrediteerd door RVA onder registratienr. RvA-C412 Producten.

FairTSA has recognized Control Union as one of the certification bodies allowed to conduct audits and certifications to the Fair TSA standard (Version 4.13).
