Reporting to the Managing Director
An exciting opportunity awaits a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team within the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) industry. Based in Taguig City, this pivotal role is instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations in the Philippines.
As Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, and delivering accurate, timely financial reporting to both local and regional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall finance operations and supervise accounts payables and receivables
- BIR Filing and payment for Company’s Income Tax Return annually (BIR Form 1702RT) and Quarterly (BIR Form 1702Q)
- Ensures correct and accurate filing of Expanded Withholding taxes Quarterly (1601EQ) and Monthly (0619E)
- Ensures correct and accurate filing of Monthly VAT (2550M) and Quarterly VAT (2550Q) remittances
- Responsible for signing BIR 2307
- Checking and filing the Audited Financial Statements to BIR and SEC
- Leads the Annual External, Internal Finance Audit, and BIR Tax Audits
- Per diem verification and consolidations of Inspections
- Assists in creating finance-related contracts, agreements, demand letters, and/or legal
- Act as the company’s Corporate Treasurer
- Assists in Job Hiring and interviews for the Finance department and other departments as needed
- Ensures monthly bank reconciliation activities
- Ensures proper filing and documentation of finance-related files, records, and documents
- Day-to-day recording of transactions in the books of accounts and maintaining bank balance records
- Monthly submission of Financial Reports to the management and to the Asia Finance Team
- Monthly cash flow projections, target collections, accounts receivables, and accounts payables updates to the Managing Director
- Quarterly submission and presentation of financial reports to the Managing Director
- Annual Budget Reporting to management and to the Asia Finance Team
- Ensures Interim and Year-End Reconciliation to Intercompany Parties
- Serves as the main contact or representative of the Philippines to the Group and regional Finance Team
- Any other task delegated by Managing Director/RT Asia Finance Head
Requirements
Educational Background & working experience:
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy
- CPA is a plus but not required
- Must have five (5) years of total work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Must be knowledgeable in BIR audits, financial audits, and financial reporting
- Must be knowledgeable in budget principles, tax policies, and other BIR regulations relevant to compliance and audit reporting
- Must have strong leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel specifically in formulas
