Technical Reviewer (TC) - Textile
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Inspections (Pvt.) Ltd. at Colombo, Sri Lanka for TECHNICAL REVIEWER – TC (TEXTILE CERTIFICATIONS).
As the Technical Reviewer – TC you will be responsible to conduct review of TC applications and issue of TCs for organic and sustainable textile related certification programs.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Client Coordination – Communicate with clients to ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and aligned with certification standards
- Internal Collaboration – Work closely with Certifiers, Auditors, Assistant Certifiers, and the Finance team to ensure timely processing of TCs
- Relationship Management – Maintain strong and professional communication with clients to build long-term trust
- Documentation & Traceability – Ensure all files are correctly maintained and traceable (digitally)
- System Updates – Keep all internal systems and documentation updated and audit-ready
- Industry Awareness – Stay updated with regulations, changes, and trends in the textile and certification industry
Requirements
- Minimum of three passes at the GCE A/L Examination (excluding General English)
- Certificate, diploma, or ongoing studies in Apparel or Textile will be a strong advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken
- Solid proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Previous experience in the textile or garment industry would be a great asset
