    About the Standard

    RTRS (Round Table on Responsible Soy) is an international initiative that promotes the responsible production, trade, and use of soy. The program establishes requirements and criteria that help organizations demonstrate their commitment to environmentally sound, socially responsible, and economically viable practices throughout the soy supply chain.
    Through a set of globally recognized standards, RTRS seeks to encourage the conservation of natural resources, the protection of high conservation value areas, respect for labor rights, good agricultural practices, and the continuous improvement of production management practices.

    The program contributes to the sustainable development of the soy supply chain by promoting greater transparency and trust among producers, buyers, and consumers.     Who Can Obtain RTRS Certification?

    RTRS certification is available to different participants in the soy supply chain, including:

    • Individual soybean producers;

    • Producer groups and agricultural associations;

    • Agricultural cooperatives;

    • Grain storage facilities and grain receiving centers;

    • Processors and manufacturers of soy and soy-derived products;

    • Traders, exporters, and distributors of soy products;

    • Organizations participating in the chain of custody of RTRS-certified soy.
