About the certificate
CEPA EN 16636:2015 provides solutions to address these issues. With Integrated Pest Management (IPM), the need for the use of biocides is reduced to a minimum and in some cases not necessary at all. The CEPA association makes a lot of effort to raise awareness about how IPM can contribute to the sustainability goals of the European Commission in all EU member states.
Shared by many of the members of the national CEPA association, the sustainability afforded by pest control is primarily a matter of prevention.
For whom?
The standard is intended for professional providers of pest control services, including assessment, prevention, advice and implementation of the relevant procedures. It does not apply to field crop protection and routine cleaning and disinfection.
