What is the Materials Matter Standard?

The Materials Matter Standard (MMS) is the next major evolution of the Textile Exchange standards system. Replacing the GRS, RCS, RWS, RMS and RAS, it introduces a unified framework with enhanced requirements for human rights, environmental management, animal welfare, traceability and sustainability claims.

These changes will affect organizations throughout the textile value chain and are designed to create a more consistent and robust approach to responsible materials certification.
