An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Philippines in Taguig and Davao for Agriculture Auditor. 

As an Agriculture Auditor you will be responsible for assessing farming operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.  Responsibilities encompass auditing, reporting, assessing risk management strategies, and evaluating agricultural practices for sustainability and efficiency. Tasks and responsibilities

  • Planning and preparation of assessments, execution of assessments and to provide a quality report with findings as to the conformity with the requirements.
  • Initiate assessment, conduct document review, and prepare on-site assessment activities. This includes carrying out agricultural and sustainability audits on farms and/or food facilities ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Assist the clients, in handling claims and appeals related to the audit process, facilitating effective conflict resolution.
  • Transport samples to the office/lab, coordinate with clients, and adhere to company standards and health/safety protocols.
  • Keep up to date files of all of quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation issued by the company and Control Union Certifications.
  • Maintaining relationships with the client, keeping them informed about market changes and adhering to ISO19011 requirements.
  • Keeps abreast of developments, issues, and legislative changes pertaining to the sectors in which assessments are carried out.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

  • Degree/ Diploma in Agriculture (preferably majored in Animal Science and Livestock Production and other Agri. Extension)
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience related to quality assurance and quality management (implementing and maintaining a quality system)
  • Knowledge of production/processing of crops and internal control system and/or handling small farm group
  • Audit/inspection principles, practices, and techniques in accordance to ISO 19011
  • Knowledge of certification body’s processes and tools would be advantageous
  • Good proficiency of English language (speaking and writing)
  • Good proficiency of systems and MS Office
  • Presentation skills and Interviewing skills
  • Report writing skills.
