Head - Industrial Inspections

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Karachi, Pakistan for HEAD – INDUSTRIAL INSPECTIONS.

As an Head of Industrial Inspection, you will be responsible for tasks and responsibilities as given below. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of Industrial inspections. The position expects good communication, analyzing and observing skills in addition to being a keen reader and detail oriented.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Responsible for his and his team’s training, safety, performance evaluation and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with Client QHSE Systems.
• Handle internal/external audits.
• Develop, implement and execute work scope documents, equipment calibration plans, inspection plans and turnaround times.
• Provide advice on inspection techniques.
• Conduct inspection site visits and maintain inspection results.
• Review all inspection findings, assess and report anomalies.
• Prepare, review, and update procedures periodically.
• Manage the Motion Kinetic software for reports, job creation and validation.
• Business Development for Industrial Inspection
• Identify business opportunities with existing as well as new clients.
• Map client’s requirements and provide them with expert advisory services.
• Lead tender process for timely submission and follow-up of business proposals.
• Submit periodic market analysis for the industry and identify new opportunities (markets, service, clients) to the Management.
• Develop marketing and sales strategies to improve service awareness and enhance CU brand proposition including new scopes/ new clients
• Client addition to ensure quarterly business target is met.
• Maintaining a good relationship with the existing clients to ensure at least 95% retention.
• Develop, execute and review annual budget plans and monthly/ yearly profitability.

Requirements

• Professional engineering qualification alongwith certifications related to API and NDT qualifications.
• The technical qualifications may include one or more of the following:
• API Certifications covering API 510 / API 570 / API 653 / API 580
• ASNT Level 3 certification PT, MT, RT, UT, VT, IR, LT, MFL, AE, ET
• LEEA level 3 certifications Lifting Machines Manual Advanced Programs
• Knowledge or Certification of API 571 The API 571 Corrosion and Materials Certification and Corrosion Damage Mechanisms
• Knowledge or Certification of Welding inspections and Coating inspections.
• Minimum 10 years’ related experience.
• At least 05 years’ experience as Inspection Manager (in-Service Inspections)
• At least 05 years’ with inspection of Pressure systems (Static Equipment & Piping), Tanks, Pipelines and Structures in Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in (or develop expertise in):
• NDT Inspections.
• Lifting Gear/ Equipment.
• Power Plants.
• On-shore including Oil & gas.
