Business Development Executive - Dyes & Chemicals Certifications

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union, at Ahmedabad, India for BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE – DYES & CHEMICALS CERTIFICATIONS.

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for business development in the Gujarat region. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants must have good knowledge of the Textiles and Dyes & Chemicals industry. You will be responsible for communicating with the client for audit requirements. You are responsible for business development for the Dyes and Chemicals division.

Tasks and responsibilities

• New business development for the Dyes and Chemicals Certification, such as GOTS, ZDHC, Vegan, Natural Dyes, and Laboratory business (RSL and MRSL testing) in the Gujarat region
• Maintain overall existing sale of international clients and develop business with the new clients by coordinating with regional offices of CU
• To increase revenue of existing as well as new programs
• Ensure awareness on auditing and certification requirements amongst clients
• Internal coordination with various teams
• Coordination with clients and potential clients
• Resolving technical queries received from clients in a timely manner, and escalating complex queries
• Maintaining good relationship with the clients
• Responsible for organising exhibitions, seminars and webinar and active participation
• Keeping abreast of developments, issues and legislative changes pertaining to textile and related sectors

Requirements

• Graduation in Textile/ Textile Chemistry or relevant field
• Minimum experience of 2 years of chemical marketing/ certification marketing
• Good command of English and Gujarati: in speech and in writing
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills
• Resourceful, fast learner with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to balance desk responsibilities alongwith field work
