Industrial Inspection Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Certifications, at Jakarta, Indonesia for INDUSTRIAL INSPECTION MANAGER.

As an Industrial Inspection Manager you will be responsible to lead our market entry and business development efforts. This role requires a blend of technical NDT and other industrial inspection knowledge and business strategy to build a client base from the ground up, develop service offerings, and ensure technical excellence.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and convert pilot projects into long-term production contracts.
• Develop and execute annual sales plans, market roadmaps, and strategies to increase market share in targeted industries (e.g., Oil & Gas, Renewables, Energy & Construction sector).
• Provide technical expertise, present, and sell advanced & Conventional NDT solutions to key decision-makers.
• Support the startup phase by assisting in setting up operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17020).
• Build network within local or international, offshore/onshore, or manufacturing sectors. industry consultants, freelance NDT inspectors, suppliers and training providers
• Track competitor activities, industry trends, and client alternatives to position the company’s services competitively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy, Materials Science, etc) or relevant discipline.
• Solid technical background in conventional and advanced NDT technologies (UT, PAUT, TOFD, ECT, MT, PT etc.).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or operational management within the inspection, testing or industrial instrumentation industry.
• Proven track record of closing long-cycle technical sales.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with a hands-on approach to business growth.
