Technical Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Certifications, at Jakarta, Indonesia for TECHNICAL MANAGER.

As a Technical Manager you will be responsible for facilitating and supporting L1 office activities, conducting internal audits, ensuring the effective implementation and continuous development of certification programs, and managing other activities related to sustainability certification. Tasks and responsibilities

• Facilitate and enable activities in L1 office activities
• Execution of Internal Audits (Procedures Manual assessment, office assessments) filing of assessment forms;
  • Assist director in assessment follows up, root-cause analyses, identify solutions.
• Facilitating correct development of certification programs;
  • Assistance in Optimizing Quality Management System, in compliance with the current versions of ISO/IEC 17065, ISO/IEC 17021 and ISO/IEC 17020;
  • Support and guide Scheme Coordinators in maintain the accreditation programs and development of new programs;
  • Execution of Validation-assessment of the program by means of reviewing the first certification-process(es), related to technical aspects.
• Development of automated systems;
  • Project management;
  • Validation;
  • Data security;
• Facilitating follow-up of improvements:
  • Pursuit of efficiency/quality improvements;
  • Facilitate corrective actions with regards to the quality system;
• Training of Scheme Managers/Coordinators;
• Conduct training in related to the scheme and procedures.
• Advice and back up director on efficient implementation of the certification system.
• Responsiveness to and, as applicable, resolution of complaints, appeals and concerns;
• Assistance in the handling of complaints

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable level by training or experience in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in testing, inspection, and certifications industry or related field.
• Having experience as program coordinator, supervisor, or relevant position.
• Lead auditor training.
• Knowledge of the current version(s) of ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17065 and/or ISO/IEC 17021, 17020, Government Regulation No.50/2012.
• Knowledge of audit principles, practices, and techniques (19011).
• Knowledge of company/management processes;
• Management skills;
• Good command of English spoken and written;
• Knowledge of customer’s business (including technical aspects);
• Knowledge (of development) of automated systems;
• Knowledge of Program management within the relevant information system;
