Technical Reviewer (TC) - Textiles

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Inspections (Pvt.) Ltd. at Colombo, Sri Lanka for TECHNICAL REVIEWER (TC) – TEXTILES.

As a Technical Reviewer (TC) – Textile, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of certification documentation within internationally recognized textile sustainability standards. You will review TC applications, verify supporting documents, assess compliance requirements, and work closely with internal teams, auditors, and clients across the textile network.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Client Coordination – Communicate with clients to ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, and aligned with certification standards
• Internal Collaboration – Work closely with Certifiers, Auditors, Assistant Certifiers, and the Finance team to ensure timely processing of TCs
• Relationship Management – Maintain strong and professional communication with clients to build long-term trust
• Documentation & Traceability – Ensure all files are correctly maintained and traceable (digitally)
• System Updates – Keep all internal systems and documentation updated and audit-ready
• Industry Awareness – Stay updated with regulations, changes, and trends in the textile and certification industry.

Requirements

• Minimum of three passes at the GCE A/L Examination (excluding General English)
• Certificate, diploma, or ongoing studies in Apparel or Textile will be a strong advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English – both written and spoken
• Solid proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• A proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Previous experience in the textile or garment industry would be a great asset
