Textile Auditor

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Control Union Inspections (Pvt.) Ltd. at Colombo, Sri Lanka for TEXTILE AUDITOR.

As a Textile Auditor, you will play a key role in supporting responsible and sustainable textile supply chains by conducting professional audits against internationally recognized standards. You will evaluate compliance, engage with diverse organizations across the textile value chain, and contribute to improving transparency and sustainability practices within the industry.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Execute audits on time as per the planning.
• Execute audits to assess compliance with the certifications and reporting audit results professionally according to Control Union guidelines.
• Assist in handling claims and appeals.
• Maintaining good relationship with Clients.
• Maintaining contact with the certifier/s on regular basis.
• Keeping abreast awareness on developments, issues and legislative changes related to the subject areas in which audits are carried out.

Requirements

• Graduate in Textile or allied fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant industries.
• Excellent report writing, presentation skills.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively (Domestic and Abroad).
• Willingness to work non-office hours if needed.
• Fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
• A Lead auditor qualification in any of ISO 9001/ISO 14001/etc. would be added advantage.
