RSPO Chain of Custody Auditor
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an RSPO Chain of Custody Auditor.
As an auditor, you will be responsible for assessing and verifying the compliance of organizations with the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Chain of Custody Standard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, a deep understanding of sustainable palm oil practices, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute audits of organizations involved in the palm oil supply chain to ensure compliance with RSPO Chain of Custody Standard and according with our internal procedures.
- Evaluate documentation, processes, and systems to determine adherence to RSPO requirements.
- Evaluate the implementation of RSPO Chain of Custody procedures, including traceability and segregation of sustainable palm oil products (when applicable).
- Identify non-conformities and evaluate correction and corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including management, employees, and suppliers, to gather relevant information and address audit-related queries.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports documenting findings, conclusions, and opportunities of improvement
- Stay informed about changes in RSPO standards and industry best practices.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all auditing activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., agriculture, environmental science, sustainability, business, or related discipline).
- Proven experience in auditing, preferably in the palm oil industry or related supply chains.
- In-depth knowledge of RSPO standards, Chain of Custody requirements, and sustainability principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification as an RSPO Lead Auditor and ISO 9001 lead auditor is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Ability to drive and hold a driver’s license.
