Soil Association is the UK organic market’s private label. The Soil Association requirements have to be followed on top of the requirements asked for EU-Organic.

The US authority (US Department of Agriculture) accredits Control Union Certifications for the National Organic Program (NOP).

Control Union Certifications in Mexico is officially approved by the Mexican Department of Agriculture (SENASICA – SAGARPA) to provide certification services under the Organic Mexican Standard LPO (Ley de Productos Orgánicos).

More and more consumers are demanding organic goods, produced under the rules of private organisations like the German Association Naturland. One aspect of this trend is that consumers, especially in Germany, consider social aspects important when buying organic food.

Control Union Dnjestr in the Republic of Moldova is accredited as a certification body by MOLDAC (the Moldavian Accreditation Body) to provide services according to Moldavian organic regulations. This allows the inspection and certification of plant production units, processed agricultural products (foods) and feed under regulations 115/2005, 149/2006, 1078/2008 and 884/2014.

The Japanese authority (MAFF) accredits CUC for the organic program (JAS organic). Control Union Certifications in India is accredited by the National Accreditation Body (NAB), Government of India. Under this accreditation, CUC can perform inspections and certifications of farms/farmer groups, processors, traders/exporters, wild collection units, apiculture/beekeeping units and livestock/poultry units in accordance with the guidelines of the National Program for Organic Production.
