Community Waste Program (CWP)
The Community Waste Program (CWP) is a comprehensive international certification standard that encompasses waste collection, determination of recycled content, and chain of custody. The standard aims to achieve/broaden the traceability scope beyond recyclers to include concentrators/micro collectors. It assists in pollution reduction, safeguarding of environment, waste management and promotion of the well-being of waste pickers thereby fostering sustainable livelihoods.
PPRS – Plastic Pollution Reduction Standard
The Plastic Pollution Reduction Standard (PPRS) provides a framework for the implementation of a credible and verifiable plastic offsetting program. The comprehensive approach means the network of partners provides a safe and transparent system of physically collecting, transporting, and processing plastic waste to prevent leakage into nature.
GRS – Global Recycled Standard
The GRS is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions. Control Union Certifications BV is accredited by SLAB for this scheme under registration nr. CP 004-01.
VS – Vegan Standard
The global market for vegan food and non-food products is expected to grow significantly while product launches have already more than doubled over the past five years.
On the way to PlanetProof
On the way to PlanetProof is an environmental quality label for sustainable vegetables, fruit, plants, trees and flower bulbs. Control Union Certifications BV is accredited by RVA for this scheme under registration nr. RvA-C412 Products.
MSPO – Malaysia Sustainable Palm Oil
The Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) standard has been made mandatory by the end 2019. The mandatory timeline comprise of three stages. Plantation industries that already have the RSPO certification is by Dec 31, 2018 and those without certification is by June 30,2019 while smallholders by Dec 31,2019.
SFP – Sustainable Fiber Program
The Sustainable Fibre Programme (SFP) draws heavily on local and regional concepts of sustainability, in line with the global definition of social, economic and environmental concepts.
GRI – Global Reporting Initiative
A sustainability report, or corporate social responsibility report, gives information about social, environmental, economic and governance performance. It presents the organisation’s values, governance model and demonstrates the link between its strategy and commitment to a sustainable global economy.
